The Virtual St Paul’s Cathedral Project, together with its predecessor the Virtual Paul’s Cross Project, have been supported by Digital Humanities Grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The Virtual St Paul’s Cathedral Project has been funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities through a Digital Humanities Implementation Grant, awarded in 2015. The Virtual Paul’s Cross Project was funded by a Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant, awarded in 2011.
Everyone associated with the completion of these projects is deeply grateful to the National Endowment for the Humanities for its support over the years, both financially and personally, through the guidance provided by members of the NEH staff. We are especially grateful to Bret Bobley, who serves as Director of the Office of Digital Humanities, and to Jason Rhody and Elizabeth Tran, who served as our Program Officers through the administration of these grants.
We are deeply grateful to the former Chair of the NEH, William D. Adams, who in 2015 was able to bring us the news in person that our DH Implementation Grant had been awarded. The Cathedral Project has truly been an interdisciplinary undertaking, engaging faculty and administration in the humanities, in architecture, and in engineering throughout the fifteen-year history of the Project.
